The episode begins with Harry Smith and James Smith bursting into the house after yet another long hard day at school. They notice Grace Smith and Liam Smith have assembled the Christmas tree in the living room, and the two boys get to decorate it from top to bottom!
The pair begin with the lights, which are brightly coloured ones that follow frantic patterns, much to Harry's delight. After they are wrapped around the tree, Harry switches them into a fast 'chase' mode, however James changes them to 'Slo-Glo'. Harry growls, stomping hard enough to wake Dominic Bray from a nap. Grace then yells at him. Liam decides that Harry should decorate one side of the tree while James works on the other.
Harry chucks gold tinsel all over his side of the tree, but this is ruined by James arranging pink tinsel on some other branches facing the window! Luckily for Harry, Liam goes into the toilet upstairs to take a dump and the doorbell rings, distracting Grace. Harry yanks the pink tinsel off with rage, causing James to burst into tears. He also throws a few tacky fairy decorations his stinky nappy poo-poo baby brother hung up to the ground.
Surprisingly, James fights back by tossing a bauble at Harry. The pair start throwing decorations at each other! The box of festive weapons shortly empties with neither of them backing down, so Harry uses his trademark weapon...an enormous fart to make James fall to his knees and vomit.
Harry hogties James with the pink tinsel...he now has the entire tree all to himself! He gathers up the best gold and red decorations that survived the war, piling them all over the branches. Due to the tinsel being cheap, James breaks free quickly enough to hang a Christmas Fancy Hippo on the top of the tree, ruining Harry's handiwork. Harry lets out a roar of anger, spitting to knock the hippo down before tossing it in the burning stove. He places a Christmas Horrid Henty plush in its place, then he proudly takes a photo of his creation on his Eyephone.
Just as Grace returns, James squeals, trying to climb up the tree to remove the Horrid Henty plush. He ends up causing the entire tree to topple over, knocking Grace down with it! She is shocked yet furious; she bans James from TV for a week, also announcing she will be re-thinking his Christmas presents this year. He lets out a deafening wail that is even heard in Hungria while Harry bursts out laughing.
